Doris M. Holder 98, formerly of Greenville, TX died April 8, 2023 in Arlington, TX.
She was born June 5,1924 to Frank Cook and Thelma Brown Cook in Elbert, TX.
Doris graduated high school in Olney, TX.
She married Clyde Holder May 26, 1941 and together they had 4 boys, Don,
Michael, Lynn, and Jon. She worked as an electrical planner and retired from
E-Systems.
Doris's favorite activities were reading, the daily New York Times crossword
puzzle, Scrabble, and she was also an avid domino player.
She is survived by two sons, Michael and Jon Holder, 8 grandchildren, and 9 great
grandchildren.
Doris was preceded in death by her parents, husband Clyde Holder, brother
Harold Cook, and Sons Don and Lynn Holder.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 4, at 1:00p.m. at Coker-Mathews
Funeral Home in Greenville, TX with Rev. Bart McDonald officiating. Interment will
follow at Memory Land Memorial Park.
Pallbearers will be Scott Holder, Jacob Holder, Blake Holder, Mike Frazier, Pete
Pegg, and Jacob Pegg.
