Lawrence Neal Phillips
July 16, 1944 - January 12, 2024

Lawrence Neal Phillips of Campbell, Texas passed away on January 12, 2024. A memorial service will be at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home in Greenville, Texas, Thursday, January 25, 2024. Visitation will be at 9:00 a.m. with services starting at 10:00 a.m., with Pastor Charlie Nasser officiating. Burial will follow at the D/FW National Cemetery at 1:30 p.m.
Neal was born July 16, 1944, in Walnut Springs, Texas to William Bath Phillips and Alta Veda Strange Phillips. Neal married Patricia Ann Pudgurney on October 23, 1968 at St Mary's Catholic Church in Bremond, Texas.
Neal proudly served in the United States Navy. As well as a member of the American Legion Post #17 in Greenville, Texas.
He and his wife Patrica owned N & P Motor Freight and Phillips Lock and Key.
Neal is survived by his son, Patrick Neal Phillips and wife, Kimberlee; daughter, Shaun Marie Hilliard. Sister, Barbara Powell; grandchildren, Jessica Phillips, Summer Phillips, Jordan Phillips, Hannah Mae Thornton, Cole Hilliard, and Story Hilliard, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Neal was preceded in death by his parents; wife; Patricia Ann Phillips, brothers, John Lowery Phillips, James Phillips, Billy Joseph Phillips and sisters, Helen Cathrine Phillips, Agnes Patricia Strnad and Alta Marie Bonner.
