Glen Lee Stewart
July 1, 1923 - February 19, 2024

Glen Lee Stewart, 100, passed away on February 19, 2024, in Rockwall.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John P. and Lizzie B. Stewart, brother, RC Stewart and sister, Martha Watkins, and first wife, Rachel Dickinson Stewart.
Survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Jean Stabert Stewart, daughters, Rhonda Muller, Kathy Dougherty and husband, Kirk, Karen Shelton and husband, Mike, sons, Randy Stewart and wife, Lisa, William Stewart and wife, Tamiko, nine grandchildren, and fourteen great-grandchildren.
Glen joined the Army Air Force at age 17 to fight in WWII. He retired as a Senior Master Sergeant after 24 years of honorable service.
After retirement, Glen worked at LTV and as a barber at Town House Barbershop.
Glen was an active member of the Elks Lodge where he held all offices and served as District Deputy Grand Exalted Ruler.
Glen and Jean enjoyed traveling in their RV and spent years on the road where they made lasting friendships.
Glen was a good cook and was famous for his potato pancakes and pinto beans. He was a man of integrity who loved his family very much. He will be greatly missed.
Visitation will be Wednesday, February 21, 2024, at 1:00 P.M. at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home with Tribute at 2:30 P.M. Private family burial will follow.
Honorary pallbearers are his grandchildren.
