Mrs. Melton was born March 29, 1956, in Deer Lodge, Montana to Alvin Springer and Maude Grapes. She married William Melton on June 29, 1992, in Greenville, Texas. She worked as an Inventory Control Clerk and was a member of Westview United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her husband, William Melton; step-son, Ashley Foster; brother, Tim Springer; brothers-in-law, Brad Melton and wife, Tonya, Tom Melton; sisters-in-law, Kathy McDonald, Shirley Melton, and Christie Melton; grandson, Gideon Foster; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Maggie Roseboom, Janet Springer; grandson, Allen Foster; step-son, Thomas Harper; and nephew, Curtis Springer.

"Ms. Thea" is one of the 1st people I remember meeting when I came to Westview when I moved to Greenville in 1997. Her and I went on the same"Walk to Emmaus".I always admired Thea for her strong commitment to The Lord and the children,
she was always busy doing something. I remember her delicious cookies. I know she will be missed. 💜❤🙏🐾 xx
