Deborah was born September 26, 1951 in Greenville, Texas to Weldon Richard and Tennie Lorene Newman Dodson. She married Alonzo Thornton on November 22, 1969 in Greenville, Texas. She was retired.
Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Alonzo Thornton; son, David Alonzo Thornton and wife, Malida; daughter, Tonya Casey and husband, Ron; sister, Janet Vail; grandchildren, Chase, Tabatha, Aubrey, Shyeann, David, Jr., Adian, Angelina, James, Kristin; great-grandchildren, Kaci, Skylar, Kylie, Kinzie, Brock, Jude, Theodore, Oliver, Avanya, Thomas, Ava Rose; numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents and sibling, Dennis Dodson.
