Rebecca Lynn Cayce (Becky), age 59, passed from this life into the arms of Jesus on April 19, 2023. Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 28, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at the chapel Coker-Mathews Funeral Home with Mr. Jerry Russell officiating. Burial will follow at Memoryland Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until service at the funeral home.

Rebecca was born to William C. and Loreta Cunningham Cayce, on June 10, 1963, in Dallas, TX. An individual with special needs, Becky was a loving, sensitive, and funny person. Her favorite things were watching game shows, going out to eat, and spending time with family and friends in her dayhab school. She was a huge fan of the Dallas Cowboys. She attended the Sunshine Center at First Baptist Church in Sunnyvale, where she learned and enjoyed many friends. At home, Becky enjoyed going to Red Lobster with her mom to eat her favorite food of shrimp. Becky was a participant in the Special Olympics during her earlier years. When she lived in Beaumont, TX. She attended the Beaumont State Center, until 1992, and then she moved back to the Dallas area with her mom. Becky was full of joy and liked everyone she met. She is survived by her mother, Loreta Cayce; sister, Kathy Shannon; brother-in-law, John Shannon; and her four nephews, Michael Shannon, Matthew Shannon, Marc Shannon, and Mitchell Shannon. Her father, Bill Cayce, passed peacefully into heaven in 1988.

Pallbearers will be her nephews.
