Clifford Ray Edwards, 75, of Greenville, passed away on September 6, 2023, in Rowlett. Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, September 13, 2023, at Highland Terrace Baptist Church with Rev. John Foster and Dr. Dewey Davidson officiating. Visitation will be 10:00 A.M., until service time. Graveside services will follow at Etter Lake Cemetery with Dr. James Ralson officiating. Coker-Mathews Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Edwards was born May 24, 1948, in Hereford, Texas, to Glenn Orval Edwards and Marie Iona Moeman. He married Janis Tate on October 3, 1975, in Greenville, Texas. He retired from L-3 Communications as a Computer Technician. He was a member of Highland Terrace Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Janis Edwards; sons, Randy Joe Daugherty, Chad Daugherty, and Christopher Edwards; brothers, Darrell Edwards, and Don Edwards; sister, Glynelda Miller; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Kenneth Edwards.

Pallbearers will be Amos Lowry, Scott Singleton, Bob Singleton, Jim Finney, Danny Bailey and Marc Milton.
