Maxy Lou Berry, 86, of Greenville, passed away on November 12, 2023, at Retreat Health Care Services in Texarkana. Funeral services will be Wednesday, November 15, 2023, at 10:00 AM at the Church of River Oaks with Rev. Kelly Reagan officiating. Burial will follow the service at Memoryland Memorial Park. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home.
Maxy was born on September 17, 1937 in Hope, Arkansas to Clayborne Rowe and Minnie Maxine Mewhinney Rowe. Maxy married Franklin D. Berry on February 11, 1987, in Greenville, Texas. Maxy worked as a telephone office clerk and was a member of the Church at River Oaks.
Maxy is survived by daughters Cathy Rosenbalm and husband Billy, Cindy Boyd and husband Steve, Carla Thompson and husband Tommy, brother Jimmy Rowe, grandchildren Joshua Rosenbalm, Daniel Rosenbalm, Derrick McCreary, Jacob Johnston, Ben Boyd, Tyler Boyd, and eleven great-grandchildren.
Maxy is preceded in death by her husband in 2021 and her parents.
Pallbearers will be Jacob Johnston, Tyler Boyd, Tommy Thompson, Larry Johnson, Kyle Smith and Clay Pullen.
