Carolyn Ann Rhodes, 78, of Celeste, passed away on November 28, 2023, at her residence surrounded by her loving family. Funeral services will be 2:30 PM, Saturday, December 2, 2023, at First Baptist Church, Celeste with Rev. Jim Sherwin officiating, burial will follow the service at Celeste Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, December 1, 2023, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home.

Carolyn was born on September 4, 1945, in Greenville, Texas to William Andrew (Billy) Warren and Lou Vada Alice Griffis Warren. Carolyn married the love of her life Charles Rhodes on August 21, 1964, at First Baptist Church of Celeste. Carolyn was a retired school counselor, and a member of the First Baptist Church of Celeste.

Carolyn is survived by her husband Charles Rhodes, son Kyle Rhodes and wife Rebecca of Celeste, daughter Robin Mote and husband Chris of Rowlett, brothers Kevin Warren and wife Renee of Celeste, Andy Joe Warren and wife Gina of Celeste, sister Dana Clark and husband Collin of Celeste, grandchildren William (Bill) Rhodes, Jacqueline Mote, Travis Mote and wife Jennifer, and Casey Rhodes.

Carolyn is preceded in death by her parents and brother Freddy Warren.

Pallbearers will be Cody Clark, William Warren, Kelly Warren, Nathan Warren, Garrett Warren, Greg Rhodes.
