Bob was born on June 12, 1947, in New Orleans, Louisiana to Robert J. White and Shirley Ax White. Bob married the love of his life Kathy Elane Rogers on February 21, 1976, in Richardson, Texas. He owned and operated Garland Auto Body Services, loved racecars, restoring old cars, woodworking and gardening.
Bob was very much an animal lover and proved it by adopting kittens who became family members. It was very good to be a cat in the ''White'' household. He also fostered many cats at his shop who would otherwise be homeless. They somehow knew that was a safe haven. There never was or will be another Bob White. He was very unique, and we loved him for it.
Bob is survived by his wife Kathy of Garland, daughter Kim Lumley of Emory, son Tony White and finance Brandie Stubbs of Richardson, brothers Perry White and wife Glenda of Rhone, Robyn White and wife Judy of Temecula, Ca., grandchildren Sophie White, Ethan White and Savannah Smith, and "fur babies", Sebastion and Jackson, who were very supportive during his illness.
Bob is preceded in death by his parents.
