William "Bill" Alcid DuBois
June 15, 1949 - January 31, 2024

William Alcid DuBois, 74, of Greenville, passed away on January 31, 2024, in Greenville, Texas. A funeral service will be 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, February 7, 2024, at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor David Burns officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. until service time. A graveside service will be 11:00 A.M., Thursday, February 8, 2024, at D/FW National Cemetery.

Mr. DuBois was born June 15, 1949, in Beverly, Massachusetts, to Payment DuBois and Antoinette Soucy. He married Serafina Solis on September 11, 1971, in Angeles City, Philippines. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force, he served in the 89th Airlift Wing based in Joint Base Andrews in Maryland. He retired from L-3 Communications and was a member of Brashear Baptist Church.

He is survived by his brothers, David DuBois and wife, Cathy, and Thomas DuBois and wife, Catherine; nephews, David DuBois and wife, Amy; niece, April Lehmann and husband, Nik; grandniece, Samantha DuBois; grandnephew, Joseph DuBois; close friends, Marsha Krotky, Linda Price, Rod Strong, Brad Reisner, Jon Beck, and Sam Hall.

He was preceded in death by his wife; parents; brothers, Edward DuBois, and Phillip DuBois.
