Anna Lee Burchett, a longtime Greenville resident, passed away May 2, 2024, at Briarcliff Health Center at the age of 102. Ann was affectionally known as ''Mumsey'' to her family and friends. A celebration of life will be Saturday, May 25, 2024, at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Coker-Mathews Funeral Home with Lloyd Parnell officiating. Visitation will be Saturday from 1:00 PM until service time. Ann was buried at Memoryland Memorial Park in Greenville beside her beloved husband.

Ann was born on December 18, 1921, in Cumi, Arkansas to Ezra Minge and Ollie Wright Minge. Ann married the love of her life Joseph A. Burchett, Jr. on October 22, 1945, in Wichita, Kansas. Ann was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother. She loved spending time with her family and having family gatherings. Ann was a active member of Washington Baptist Church, Highland Terrace Baptist Church, and Emmanuel Missionary Baptist Church before moving to Briarcliff.

Ann is survived by her sons Mike Burchett, Anthony Burchett and wife Susan, daughter Nancy Burchett, sister Pat Baker, eight grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, five great-great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Ann is preceded in death by her loving husband Joseph A. Burchett Jr. of 51 years, her parents Mr. and Mrs. John Ezra Minge, five brothers and sisters.

Pallbearers were Doug Burchett, Frank Burchett, Micah McKinney, Omar Valentin, Jeb Burchett, and Mason Little.

In lieu of flowers, Ann requested donations to be made to your favorite charity in her honor.
