Derrell was born on July 24, 1943, in Greenville, Texas, to Cliff J. Crouch and Norine Sandlin. He worked as a rancher and farmer and was a veteran of the United States Army.
He is survived by his daughter, Holly London; sister, Barbara Doughty; grandchildren, Lauren Davidson, Izzy and Tatum London; nephews, Chad Crouch and wife, Kristi, Christopher Crouch, Sean Doughty, Allison Sanders and husband, Stenson.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Robert C. Crouch.
