Sara was born on March 9, 1976, in Walnut Creek, California to Erik Gundacker and Rose Nigon Gundacker. Sara worked as an adoption agent for the Texas Child Protection Agency. Sara loved the outdoors and loved taking long walks and riding her bicycle. Sara was really devoted to her work and loved helping children, she was a people person, she loved being around people and never met a stranger.
Sara is survived by mother Rose Mary Gundacker of Burnsville, Minnesota, father Erik Gundacker of Wisconsin, brother Craig Gundacker and wife Svetlana, sisters Nicole Rohrbaugh and Kristi Thompson.

LaCrosse, WI Monday, September 9, 2024 Rose, and family/friends/cousins of Sara:I was so sorry to read that your daughter, sister, and cousin to my Niece Renee(Matthew), and Nephews Daniel(Alison), Greg(Kate), Dave and Scott had died. She was still young and thriving in her important work in Social services. I believe we both graduated from Saint Mary's U of MN graduate school.
My Mom, DeLoris Malmberg (their Grandma) and I wish you peace of mind, grace and pride, in knowing she performed meaningful work for the children of her adopted state of Texas.
